Nancy Villere is a desert-based artist working between photography and painting, inspired by the shifting light and raw beauty of Joshua Tree National Park. Trained in classical realism, her work has evolved into a more intuitive, expressionist language. Through layered abstractions and desert imagery, she explores the balance between control and chance, revealing nature’s quiet chaos and emotional resonance.
